How to Kickstart and Scale a Marketplace Business
Rare insights from 17 of today's biggest marketplaces, including Airbnb, DoorDash, Thumbtack, Etsy, Uber and many more
Join us for an evening with founder, engineer and product manager, Lenny Rachitsky. Lenny spent the last seven years at Airbnb where he led teams tackling supply growth, conversion, reviews, quality, community, and much more. Before joining Airbnb he cofounded Localmind, a location-based information platform providing real-time answers for destination-related queries which sold to Airbnb.
Since leaving Airbnb, Lenny set out to interview dozens of founders and early employees at the helm of building and scaling some of the most successful marketplace businesses. He’s consolidated his learnings into a highly actionable playbook on how to kickstart and grow a successful marketplace business. He will be sharing these learnings with you!

WordCamp Miami is one among many WordCamps that happen around the world each year. WordCamp is a community-organized conference centered on the WordPress publishing platform. WordCamps are not just for users. They’re ideal for any first-designer, developer, blogger, writer, entrepreneur, etc!
You can’t beat a conference that has over 70 speakers/panelists (from around the world and from locally) for $50 for the weekend. That weekend ticket also includes some nice swag, lunch, snacks, and a t-shirt (assuming you grab a ticket in time). Not to mention the after parties and networking socials. Again, it’s hard to find a tech conference with that price tag and that much value.
Join us at WordCamp on February 28 - March 1 at FIU.
