LBCA is a proud sponsor of the 2nd International Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer Symposium.  Researchers, health care professionals and advocates from around the world will come together to share research on lobular breast cancer, collaborate and discuss ways to better understand lobular breast cancer and refine and advance therapies for patients.

The #lobular2020 Symposium will kick off with a Lobular Advocacy Bootcamp on Thursday, May 14th from 8:00am to 4:30pm.  This patient-friendly, advocate-focused session is organized by LBCA. Bootcamp will be a day of learning tailored to patients, former patients, caregivers and established breast cancer advocates interested in learning about lobular breast cancer and how they can help advance lobular research and educate others about this disease.

LBCA Survey Highlights Unmet Information Needs of Patients with Lobular Breast Cancer
 

LBCA presented a research poster at the prestigious San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) in December, 2019 entitled: Survey of LBCA-Sponsored Website Confirms Value, Identifies Unmet Information Needs of Patients.  The poster presents results of a survey conducted last spring of 950 LobularBreastCancer.org website users.  

SABCS is attended by thousands of breast cancer researchers, oncologists and health providers, patient advocates and industry representatives.  LBCA sends a team of advocates to SABCS every year to represent the needs of lobular breast cancer patients and advocate for research and education.
