The countdown has begun to the end of a weird, tragic, joyful, confusing, painful, celebratory year.
This is the last reminder that any gifts to the church must be received or postmarked by December 31st to be credited for 2019. The church office will be open from 10 a.m. to noon on New Year's Eve.
With the arrival of 2020, we cast our eyes toward Epiphany. Parish Associate Lydia Casey will be our preacher and worship leader on Sunday. As her friend and colleague, it has been fascinating to hear about the intersection of ministry and nursing that Lydia has observed over the past couple of years. I wish I could be here to hear her sermon!
But I'm off on a brief vacation to decompress from Christmas with friends in Chicago. Please call or text if there's an emergency. I return next Tuesday afternoon.
