YEAR-END NEWS
Happy Holidays.... We hope you were able to enjoy time with your loved ones.
Despite the fact that the CIty of Los Angeles has sued the FAA to restore Burbank Airport's departure path to its pre-Metroplex location, the Task Force meetings are scheduled to continue. The next Task Force meeting will be held on January 15, 2020 at 6:30 pm. At that meeting, Save Coldwater Canyon ("SCC"), an environmental organization whose mission is to protect the Santa Monica Mountains, open space, and wildlife, will be presenting. SCC has been steadfast in the fight against the FAA to end the jet superhighway and restore our health, safety and quality of life.
SCC is hiring experts to study data and provide reports proving just how destructive this flight path is to our communities and public parklands, and to the quiet and tranquility that must remain available to all LA residents and visitors to the parks and trails of the Santa Monica Mountains.
SCC NEEDS YOUR HELP TO HIRE EXPERTS! For more information and to DONATE, please see SCC's Newsletter and also go to SCC's website. Please note that all donations are tax deductible. Thank you, yet again, for your help in this battle! We are stronger together!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
HERE'S TO PEACE AND QUIET IN 2020!
