Message from the Principal, Br. Fathi Khalfi

As we come to the end of this first semester, it is with great pride that I can look back at the many achievements of our school, so far.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the GSA community beginning with the admin and teachers for their hard work this semester. It has been a great school year, everyone embraced this with goodwill and continued to provide the best education for our children.

To all parents and guardians for your support this year. A great deal of what we have done in school would not have been achieved without your help and cooperation.

To our students on a great first semester, you were focused and determined! We are so thankful for your hard work and cooperation.

Last but not least, my warmest appreciation and thanks goes out to the GSA Board for continuous support and strong leadership, may Allah reward you always.

I look forward to working more closely with everyone in Semester 2, in Sha Allah!

First Time in GSA History:
  • Community participated in the mission statement update
  •  Implemented a complete Human Resource System using ADP software
  • Implementing a new Library System (coming soon for teachers, parents and students)

The new library system meets everyone’s demands:

  • Students will enjoy the library interface because it is attractive, engaging and intuitive. Students can connect to the library on their own devices at their own convenience. Students can interact with the catalogue, “liking” and reviewing items, as well as manage their own library experience. System adapts to student’s needs by tracking the way students use the system. Best of all, they only need one login to reach everything
  • Teachers can create class specific reading lists, add areas of interest, and check on the availability of resources at any time
  • Parents will be able to see their children’s access to the relevant, reliable resources they will need and a leading edge library system. Parents can participate in their child’s learning, reading and discovery from home, logging into Accessit with their child and selecting reading material, or placing reserves
  • Created a records retention system to safeguard school’s important records and documents
