Happy New Year!
Due to the many answered prayers, the leadership of our generosity team and your positive response to our Christmas RENEW campaign for church mortgage, I am happy to report that the total received surpassed our goal of $50,000. We received $61,343!. Yes that’s $61,343. Praise God! And thank you for your commitments.
As wonderful as your response and the blessing of God has been, did you know there is something even greater He has promised? As we begin this new year wouldn’t it be wonderful to begin it bathed in prayer? Will you consider supporting the 10 Days of Prayer initiative that starts next Wednesday at 6:30 pm. with praise service at 6:25. p.m.? You would be strengthened, the church would be strengthened, the Lord would be pleased, the devil would be threatened, and our community will be impacted by such a united commitment.
The book of Acts teaches us that when we commit to praying together God responds with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit which is the long promised gift that will finish the work of the gospel when we are willing and prepared to receive the fullness of this blessing. While we will provide suggested theme's for prayer, you certainly can pray about anything you want or just pray silently. No one will be pressured to pray out loud. Besides the adult program in the Sanctuary, We will have childcare available for infants to age 5 and programming for ages 6 through 12 and teens.
