2020 Songwriters at Sunset Free Acoustic Concert / Food Truck Event Season Schedule

FORT MYERS BEACH- Friends of Lovers Key (FOLKS) has joined with the Americana Community Music Association (ACMA), to offer a series of monthly Free Acoustic concerts of all original music this upcoming season.

Entering our 5th season, the concerts will take place in the large gazebo located right on the beach. Seating on the gazebo is available for the first 80 people. Additional seating is also available on the sand.
Each month, prior to the start of the concert, FOLKS will be hosting Food Truck Vendors serving food truck specialties and soda, wine and beer. A portion of the proceeds from the food and beverage sales will go towards the future Welcome and Discovery Center at Lovers Key State Park.
The Jan. 2nd concert will feature J. Roberts and Brent Moyer.
For more than 25 years, J.Robert has been a SW Florida premier “Florida Music” artist – creator of the “Florida Songwriter Showcase” and regular performer at the Florida Folk Festival, local charity events, hotels, and corporate events.
Brent Moyer was raised in the mountains of Wyoming, Brent’s hot, high-energy guitar style and rich baritone voice wrapped around his original songs invoke classical Heartland sounds, the intricate melding of American musical genres; Country, R&B and Americana.
This month's concert will feature 3 food trucks- Brit Pit, Haney’s Catering, and Royal Scoop. The food trucks will start serving 1 hour prior to the concert start time.
FEES: Free with paid park entry fee.
Park entry fees are $8 for vehicles (2-8 people), $4 for single person in vehicle, $2 for pedestrian/bicyclist.

FOLKs Annual Meeting
The annual meeting of FOLKS Members will be held on January, 21 at 6.30 PM at the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s club. Members will vote on a slate of Board nominations during a formal portion of the meeting. Light refreshments and speaker on environmental topic. Bring a friend or neighbor to introduce the exciting happenings at Lovers Key State Park!
