Tell us a little about APASA’s mission and how it benefits UCB staff.
Asian Pacific American Systemwide Alliance (APASA) strives to promote the general welfare of Asian Pacific Islander (API) staff, faculty, and students on campus. We hope to strengthen the professional and social networking between API staff and faculty, the Berkeley campus community, the University of California systemwide, and the general public.
Where might staff have seen this organization before?
APASA hosts a few large events annually, so you may have heard of or attended our Halo-Halo Fundraiser, Fall Kick-Off and Silent Auction, or our largest event of the year, the Lunar New Year Luncheon, which is happening this year on Tuesday, January 28th from 12-1:30pm.The event is open to any who would like to attend, with RSVP required by Friday, Jan. 17th.

What’s the best part of being in this staff organization?
APASA enables its members to meet new people from across campus in departments they might not usually normally interact with. Our staff population is so large, it's great that people feel they have a sense of community through APASA. JOIN US
