Volunteer Mixer a Big Success!
The Volunteer Mixer helped kick off Azulita's 2020 programming with a bang! Special thanks to all the friends who spent the evening with us at Single Speed Coffee Cafe. We enjoyed sharing information about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities that promote sustainability in Flagstaff.

Are you inspired to start volunteering with the Azulita Project? Scroll down to see a list of events where your help is needed!

Upcoming events include:

The Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival (February 13-16th)
Broken Sled Clean Up Days (February 22nd and March 7th)
NAU Open Market (Beginning in March)
Earth Day Events (Beginning in April)
Straw Free Flag (ongoing)

To learn how to volunteer at any of these events, contact outreach@azulitaproject.com
The Azulita Project needs volunteers to help at The Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival! In order to ensure this is a plastic-free event, we are looking for volunteers to help with reusable cup washing, educating festival goers about correct recycling methods, and staffing an outreach table at film viewings at the Orpheum Theater. As an extra incentive, volunteers will have the chance to watch the films at the events they work!

The 18th Annual Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival is Approaching!
Azulita Project board member James Q. Martin runs his own film production business called Q Media. He has created a film which uncovers the truths about what happens when residents in Flagstaff make the effort to recycle.

Come watch the film during the Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival to find out more. Q's film will be shown at the
Orpheum Theatre on February 13th between 7:00-10:00pm, February 14th between 1:00-3:00pm at Firecreek Coffee Company, and then again on February 16th between 7:00-10:00pm back at the Orpheum Theatre.
