We had a wonderful time celebrating Grace Presbyterian’s 3rd Birthday! Many thanks to ALL who helped with the planning and implementation of the day’s festivities. Special thanks to Denise Yanaura and the Congregational Care Team for the meal/set-up and clean-up and decorations and Diane and Barry McGee for cooking the meal. For the next couple of Sundays, pre-worship, enjoy viewing the Birthday Slide Show! Thanks also: Rush Watson, Sherry Kimbro, Martha Bace, Jimmy Powell, and Ruthie Sherrill.

Each Sunday, 9:45 a.m.

Infants: “Growing in Grace and Gratitude”
Children: New Unit- Jesus as a Boy at the Temple. Children will have the chance to consider what Jesus was like as a 12 yrs. old and to compare his going to temple with their coming to worship. Younger Children: StoryTelling- Blue Rm/Ormond Bldg. Older Children: ART- Bright Rm/Ormond Bldg. Adult Pick-Up from the Bright Rm.
Middle School: grades 5-6-7, Connect. Youth Rm. Our journey through the Old Testament continues with a look at Judges, Kings, and Prophets.

Sundays of January, 9:45 a.m.
This Sunday's session is in the Fellowship Hall.

MLK, Jr. Unity Day
Monday, January 20, 2020

MLK, Jr. Unity Day March. 11:30 a.m. we will leave the GPC parking lot to drive to the March. The end location is City Hall.
MLK Jr. Unity Day Breakfast. 7 a.m. at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church
MLK Mass Rally. 6 p.m. at First African Baptist Church.

You are encouraged to view this film as part of this weekend's MLK, Jr. Remembrance and Celebration. Rated PG-13, Just Mercy is a fact-based courtroom drama that tackles the subjects of racism and the death penalty. It is not suitable for children.

Volunteer opportunities abound: secure soup donations, make homemade soup, mount posters, kitchen detail: warm soup/cut bread/fill water bottles; wash pots; pack take-out, hostess duties: refresh tables, fill soup pots, serve soups; administration: sell tickets. Please complete the insert in Sunday's bulletin to volunteer, Thank you, in advance, to this year's co-directors: Linda Roberts and Ann Weeden.

Volunteers are still needed. Please go to inyurl.com/pres200habitat to register and let’s finish the work on for the 200th Annviersary Presbyterian Habitat House.

AL Arise will hold a listening session on Tuesday, January 21st, beginning at 5:30 until 6:45 at Grace. Stan Johnson will inform us about the issues AL Arise is working on this year.
