At the PTO Meeting on January 14th, the members in attendance discussed the following:

Families should have received an email from Dr. Church regarding the change of the teacher workday in March due to schools being used as polling locations. The date was previously March 9th, but will now instead be March 3rd.

The Quarterly Kroger Community Rewards increased from 16 participating households up to 23! If you are interested in how to connect your Kroger Rewards Card to the PTO to help earn money while you shop, go to https://www.kroger.com/signin?redirectUrl=/account/communityrewards/ to sign in or create an account.

For the next Box Tops competition ending February 21st, you can also email a screenshot of your profile in your app. Send it to our coordinator at usand2m3s@gmail.com including your student’s name and teacher/grade.

The Book Fair will be during the last week of January with an after school shopping day on Tuesday and Breakfast shopping on Friday. Teachers will take classes at various times during the day of the week. Please look for more information coming home from teachers. We will not have “Bingo for books” during the book fair but it will be a part of Literacy Night in March. More information will come home from school.

The 2019-20 School Year Calendar has been updated and will be distributed to students to bring home. If you have an interest in helping the PTO with an event, please contact us as soon as possible. We will need many volunteers for Field Day and as little as 30 minutes can help relieve another volunteer.
