Are you ready for Lions Awareness Day?

Let’s get together, show our communities the important work we do and encourage them to join Lions so that they can make a difference too.

Not sure how to get involved?

Set up an information stall at your local markets or shopping centre.
Organise a meet and greet at a popular location within your community.
Provide a free lunch or breakfast to draw in the crowds.
Invite members of the community to view and learn about one of your recent community projects.
And don’t forget to add your event to our map – by following the instructions here!

IMPORTANT NOTE

Lions Cake Program for the Year Ending 31/12/2020.

Our current Cake manufacturer, George Westons Foods, will cease providing the Lions Cake products including the Puddings and Mini Cakes at the end of 2020, season. (31/December/2020), due to the closure of the manufacturing plant at Kedron, Queensland.
The 2020 Lions Cake program will not change and the ordering and delivery procedures will remain the same as this year.
The MD Council has established a small working group, reporting back to the MD Council, to work through the tender process for a new manufacturer.
Clubs will be notified of any changes to the current arrangements, before the commencement of the 2021 season.

NOTICE FROM COUNCIL CHAIRPERSON KIM FORREST REGARDING THE “NEED FOR FEED” PROJECT

Many clubs are supportive of the Need for Feed Project that provides assistance to rural communities affected by fire, flood and drought.
Lions should note however, that the Need for Feed Project is a V3 District project managed by the Lions Club of Pakenham and Lions Clubs or Districts must not use the name “Need for Feed” or fundraise on this projects behalf, without their permission.
