EOS Annual Report 2018

Dear EOS Community,

The Earth Observatory of Singapore’s 2018 Annual Report is now available. This report includes highlights of the research, outreach, impact, and changes that took place during the Observatory’s 10th year.

At this 10-year milestone, the 2018 Annual Report looks at the life and work of Professor Kerry Sieh as he steps down as EOS’s Founding Director. It also highlights the progress and impact of our Hazards, Risk, and Society group during the fiscal year.

The Report also provides updates from our Centre for Geohazard Observations, Community Engagement, and Philanthropy offices.

We hope you enjoy this look back on our latest research, and I invite you to pass along this 2018 Annual Report to others who might want to learn more about the work that we do.

Sincerely,

Fidel Costa
Interim Director, Earth Observatory of Singapore
