Louvain School of Management Newsletter - January 2020
A New Year, New Horizons!
"The Louvain School of Management wishes you all a wonderful new year 2020, full of positive energy and serenity! The School is now entering a new period, after achieving our EQUIS 5-year accreditation, rising to a top-10 position in the CEMS internal ranking and consolidating our position as the largest management school in French-speaking Belgium. This year, true to the theme "teaming up with the students" we reach out to stakeholders close by and internationally to work together on new innovative projects. Perhaps you have an idea to share with us how to use management as a force for good?"
In the frame of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) course, 1st year Master's students in Business Engineering and Management Sciences had the opportunity to learn about the B Corp certification and to apply their knowledge and skills to real cases, in cooperation with start-ups and companies from a variety of industries.
1st year Master's students took part to the Sulitest at the beginning and at the end of the CSR course during the first semester. The purpose was twofold: providing students with a view on the evolution of their level of knowledge regarding CSR throughout the course and providing an additional learning opportunity and reference material. As a result, students’ scores significantly increased over the semester, demonstrating the positive impact of lectures, practical sessions and team projects provided during the CSR course.
