What WLI did in 2019
In the year of youth climate strikes, WLI members welcomed young people to wetland centres for World Migratory Bird Day video conferences; and for the EU-funded Biowet programme they started measuring climate change at a series of centres in Europe.
WLI staff presented and moderated at government, NGO, policy and wetland centre events.
WLI members met to plan for the future in Asia and the East Atlantic Flyway; and developed a large educational map.
