AquaticPollutants Call Pre-Announcement

The three Joint Programming Initiatives on Water, Oceans and Antimicrobial Resistance are pleased to pre-announce a joint transnational call for research and innovation projects on risks to human health and the environment from pollutants and pathogens in water resources.

Two additional projects jointly funded through JPI Oceans and JPI Climate 

Thanks to an increase in financial commitments by several national funding agencies, two additional proposals to the joint JPI Climate and JPI Oceans call have been awarded funding.

EUREC4A field campaign in Barbados is exploring the ocean-climate nexus

The newly established EUREC4A-OA project, funded jointly through JPI Oceans and JPI Climate, launched its first international airborne and oceanographic research campaign in Barbados. The month-long field study aims to reduce uncertainties around future climate change by studying ocean-atmosphere interactions between trade wind cumulus clouds and mesoscale eddies.

MarTERA joint call on marine and maritime technologies


The MarTERA Cofund on marine and maritime technologies announced its third joint call with a budget of about €13 million intended for transnational research and innovation projects.

Corinne Muscat Terribile from Malta elected as second JPI Oceans Vice-Chair

The Management Board has further strengthened the leadership capacities of JPI Oceans by appointing Corinne Muscat Terribile as second Vice-Chair for a term of three years, alongside Vice-Chair Joachim Harms and the Chair of the Management Board Arvid Hallén.
