PWG Basel - Jobhunt Workshop Tomorrow, AGM & 30 Year Anniversary Party next Thursday!

Tomorrow our Job Hunt Support Group has its premiere at a new location, and we welcome Pragati Siddhanti for the first of a series of four workshops.
Then exactly one week from now, we hope you our celebrations for 30 years of PWG! We start at 18.30 with our Annual General Meeting, for which our current members have received the documentation by email. Should you like to listen in, become a member or renew your membership now, you are of course very welcome to join for that part too! We will continue with celebrations at 19.30.
In February 5th, we bring an Expert Session on Agile Mindset, How to think, feel and create your way through business and life in an agile way with leadership and style

Job Hunt Support Group

The PWG Job Hunt Support Group is introducing some exciting new content and a new location for our meetings.

To kick-off our 2020 meetings we will be joined by blogger and Business Integration Manager Pragati Sidhanti, who will be sharing her insights on the Swiss job market and how she has been able to navigate it both as an entrepreneur and an employee.

In Part 1 of her series, she will be discussing: Basics like Permit, language and handy hints around not losing your patience.

Pragati’s series of presentations for JHSG, can be attended separately and will be a useful way for attendees to learn about the different steps that they can take towards shaping their careers.

On Thursday January 23rd, we will be celebrating an amazing 30 years of PWG Basel. To mark this great milestone our 2020 Annual General Meeting will be hosted on the same day as our celebration event.

The evening will start off at 6.30 pm with the AGM, and will be followed by celebrations at 7.30 pm.

Guests can expect to have a fun evening of great food, music and conversation with the PWG members and staff.

Some of our Hop-on/Hop-off volunteers will also be present to provide us with services such as photography, décor and logistical support. Light catering and refreshments will be provided by small local businesses who we have partnered with for the evening.

Petra Buric, CEO and Performance coach of Empowered Life will share with us a brief overview of Agile, Scrum and Kanban, with a specific focus on the Agile Mindset, leadership and style. Petra’s interactive session will give guests a better understanding of:

What is the mindset?… And how does it directly affect and influence our personal and professional life?
How to shift it, why shift it, and what should we shift it towards?

This session will also give us a better understanding of how we can all tap into our mindsets to achieve our goals with empowered confidence and leave a lasting impression.
