Endeavor Global: High-Impact Entrepreneurship
Endeavor welcomes 28 new High-Impact Entrepreneurs from seven countries!

On October 19, Endeavor selected 28 Entrepreneurs from seven countries (Chile, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, South Africa and Turkey) at its 40th International Selection Panel in Amman, Jordan. Endeavor now supports 631 High-Impact Entrepreneurs from 399 companies in 12 emerging growth countries. Endeavor also held its inaugural Global Acceleration Panel to offer feedback to current Entrepreneurs. [More]

2011 Endeavor Gala raises over $2 million; event to honor Reid Hoffman, Fadi Ghandour

Endeavor has surpassed our $2 million fundraising goal for the 2011 Endeavor Gala, to be held November 10th in New York City. This year's event, which will bring together over 600 international business leaders to celebrate high-impact entrepreneurship, will honor two of our own: Reid Hoffman, Founder & Executive Chairman, LinkedIn, and Endeavor Global Board Member, and Fadi Ghandour, Founder & CEO, Aramex International, and Endeavor Jordan Board Member, as High-Impact Entrepreneurs of the Year. Khaled Ismail, first Endeavor Entrepreneur in Middle East, appointed Endeavor Egypt Board Chairman

Endeavor Egypt announced that Khaled Ismail has been elected as the organization’s Board Chairman. After being selected as Endeavor’s first high-impact entrepreneur in the Middle East in 2007, Khaled built his tech firm, SySDSoft, into one of the leading companies designing wireless communications systems. SySDSoft sold most of its IP and assets to Intel in March 2011. Ismail now serves as the Managing Director of Intel Mobile Communications. [More]

Endeavor Chile firm Atakama acquired by Japan's DeNA

Atakama Labs, a mobile gaming startup founded by Chilean Endeavor Entrepreneurs Tiburcio de la Carcova and Esteban Sosnik, has been acquired by prominent Japanese mobile-social company DeNA. Through this acquisition, Atakama has become the first Latin American subsidiary in DeNA’s growing global portfolio. [More]


Debut exit for Colombia VC firm: Ecoflora spins off agriculture business

Ecoflora, a Colombian biotech and natural products company pioneered by Endeavor Entrepreneur Nicolás Cock Duque, has spun off its agricultural business unit to create Ecoflora Agro. The new subsidiary company was formed in partnership with Gowan Company, LLC. Gowan’s share in Ecoflora was purchased from Promotora venture capital fund Progresa Capital, making this transaction the first exit of a Venture Capital fund in Colombia. [More]

Description: Founded in October 2010 by one of Turkey’s top internet entrepreneurs (Sidar Sahin) and a former Endeavor intern (Hakan Bas), Peak Games is bringing top quality Facebook games to emerging markets. Until recently Peak has only targeted the Turkish market and it is already among the top ten gaming companies globally, with 4 million Daily Active Users (DAU). Recently the firm launched games in Arabic and Spanish.
