Како недавно рече један наш епископ, Сава је Светац потребан сваком крштеном народу, али нема сваки народ Саву. Саву имамо ми, да бисмо га следили, да бисмо њиме пронашли пут који води у живот вечни, да не бисмо себе изгубили. Због тога је Сава бисер, драгоцен. Ако њега заборавимо тумараћемо у помрчини живота, заувек изгубљени. Због тога га и вековима тражимо, да бисмо га нашли у Хиландару, Студеници, Милешеви, на Врачару, али и у Америци, Калифорнији, и у Сан Маркосу .... Свуда нас Сава сачекује да нас напоји Живом водом са Зденца вечности, водом од које нећемо ожедњети.
Дођите у недељу 26. јануара у што већем броју како бисмо сви ми - заједно са нашом децом - прославили Св. Саву!
Dear brothers and sisters,
The Feast and Celebration of Saint Save is before us!
As one of our hierarchs recently noted, Sava is a Saint which all Christian nations need, but not all nations have Sava. We have Sava that we might follow him, that we might find the path that leads to everlasting life, that we not lose ourselves. For this reason, Sava is a valuable pearl. If we lose him we will wander through the darkness of this life, lost forever. For this reason have we sought him over the centuries, finding him in Hilandar, Studenica, Milesevo, Vracar, but also in America, in California and in San Marcos...he awaits us at all places to let us drink from that Well of eternity, the water which will never make us thirst again.
Join us on Sunday, January 26th that we might – together with our chidren – celebrate and honor Saint Sava!
