Hi
<<Title>>,

I am writing to ask you to reserve the date March 10 and plan to attend our 2020 Meeting for Marketing and Sales Executives in Boston.

Who Should Attend:  The one day meeting is directed to senior executives in the marketing and sales functions and other executives interested in emerging trends and business strategies to increase sales performance and growth.

Program:  Our program will provide strategic insights and advice on emerging trends, Digital marketing, how marketing and sales are evolving, and Gen Z’s attitude towards healthcare and the implications for companies marketing healthcare related products and technologies.

Logistics:  The details are --

DATE:             March 10, 2020
TIME:              9:00 AM to about 3:00 PM
LOCATION:    Charles Hotel, One Bennett Street, Cambridge, MA

Speakers:   Our confirmed speakers include:
  • Matt Greenstein, a leader of the Alexander Group’s Life Science Practice (AGI) and advisor to several ALDA members, will examine several key takeaways from a virtual event AGI is holding in early February with a group of industry marketing and sales executives discussing key trends and predictions for the life science industry in the coming year and what their companies are doing to prepare their commercial organizations.  Digital will be one of the principal topics addressed in this presentation filled with solid, practical advice.

  • Digital is disrupting marketing and sales and will require new types of people and new skills. Paul Rhoda, Vice President, of Revenue Partner LLC, will share their advice on recruiting, training and retaining the right mix of scientific and commercial talent for the evolving marketing and sales roles that will be needed in the future, and for the need to pivot to speaking about work flows and solving user/lab problems, as opposed to focusing on the technology and science.

  • Kristin Apple, President, of The Linus Group, will present the highlights of their recent study of Gen Z's attitudes towards healthcare in a presentation entitled: "Gen Z: Understanding and Planning for the Next Generation.” Ms. Apple will discuss how this new generation will transform interaction in the marketplace, and what changes companies need to make to better serve Gen Z as clients, customers and employees.

  • We are in the process of confirming another speaker to discuss the fusion of marketing and sales in life science companies and the implications/opportunities. Should marketing and sales be combined into one department, and how are the two functions evolving in today’s digital world where increasing work is done digitally and field sales is essentially brought in to close the deal.  In addition, our speaker will examine the impact digital marketing can have on ALDA members' business and organization … and the potential for large productivity savings.
