A WHOLE extra day!

"The Novel Novel" Writing Workshop!

What fun I had presenting "The Novel Novel" workshop on February 1st! A friend asked about my outfit, so I told her this is how I dress when I teach. Also, I'm a firm believer in the power of polka dots!

Workshop attendees were amazing, willing to work on writing exercises throughout the day and share tidbits from their W.I.P.s (works in progress). So much talent under one beautiful roof! The Salida United Methodist Church has a fabulous community room, and employees were generous and helpful.

The day was the product of many hours of work by members of the Chaffee County Writers Exchange, and my thanks go out to them for helping to make this day a success.

The workshop was a great way to start our "Leap Month," and now I'll focus my energy on polishing and compiling stories for my "Dark Ebb" collection! With a whole extra day this month, there's no excuse not to complete this project!

What are your plans for February 29th? Maybe that's a day to give yourself permission to do
. . . absolutely nothing!
Why not? You have my permission!
:)
Upcoming (and maybe some past) Events!
