RJ Reynolds High School is holding its 14th annual FUNdraiser, A Cappella Jam for Hope, on Saturday, January 18!
The lively music-filled event will start at 7 pm at RJ Reynolds Auditorium. Matt Sallee from Pentatonix will be the emcee for A Cappella Jam, which includes college a cappella groups from throughout the state. The suggested donation amount at the door is $8 per person.

The funds raised at A Cappella Jam will go toward helping the Kaleideum (formerly the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem and SciWorks) provide outreach memberships for deserving families, as well as free and discounted field trip programs for Forsyth County schools.

SENIORS! January-April Deadlines
Seniors (and their families) should take time to read the updated Senior Info on the RJR website. Seniors are also encouraged to join the RJR Class of 2020 Instagram. Cap&Gown order forms will be distributed in homeroom on January 22. Cap&Gown picture day is February 13.
Parents, it is last call to buy a baby/senior ad for your senior. All online orders must be completed by 1/17, but cash or check orders can be turned in by 1/20. Don't forget to buy your book online when you purchase your ad.

Meal Payments Platform Change
Between January 22 and January 27, the system used to prepay for meals at school will transition from K12PaymentCenter back to MySchoolBucks. Current users of K12PaymentCenter will receive more information about this transition, and balances will be transferred to MySchoolBucks.

A reverse raffle is a raffle in which you do NOT want your number to be called until the end of the evening. If your ticket is drawn LAST you could win up to $8,000 dollars! All proceeds from the event support the RJR Athletic Booster Club.
Cost of the raffle ticket is a $100 donation which includes dinner and beverage. You do not have to attend to win.

Reynolds is committed to ensuring no student at our school goes without food over the weekend, when schools meals are not served. The Demon Pantry thanks everyone who contributed to this year’s successful Legacy campaign!
Funds from the PTSA enable pantry volunteers to buy food and toiletries our students need to keep the Demon Pantry supplied each week, and this month we also bought 44 new backpacks, a frequently requested need of students who use the pantry. THANK YOU, generous Reynolds families, for making this possible. Our students feel loved and cared for thanks to you!
