Rosemount High School Students Selected As – 2019 Triple “A” Award Winners.

Kate Beckwith and Jonathan Mann, Rosemount High School seniors, have been selected to represent Rosemount High School in the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award Program.

Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award (Triple “A” Award) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League.   The award goes to high school seniors who have a “B” or better grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored Athletic and Fine Arts activities.

Both Beckwith and Mann are active members in AP Courses, Arts and Athletics.  Beckwith has participated in Band since 5th grade and earned a Superior Rating in Percussion Ensemble.   She also currently maintains a 4.0 GPA.   Mann has earned a Superior Rating in Choir for the past 3 years as well as served as President the past 3 years.   Both are three sport athletes.  Beckwith is a captain for both Cross Country and Track.   Mann is a multiple state participant, two-time captain, four-time All State Athlete, six time All Conference and was a 2019 All-Star football game selection.

Triple “A” Award recipients are selected by a multi-level process involving the League’s member schools and then administrative regions.   League officials will announce the four state wide award recipients (a girl and a boy from both a Class “A” and a Class “AA” school) at an on-court recognition ceremony in March.

Go Irish!
