Conrad students taste test and vote on new vegetarian menu options

Dallas ISD Food and Child Nutrition Services (FCNS) will test three new vegetarian dishes during lunchtime at Conrad High School, in an effort to diversify menu options in our cafeterias. Recognizing the increasing demand for vegan and vegetarian options, Dallas ISD welcomes student input to provide a variety of nutritious and delicious meals. Students will have the option to taste test and rank their favorite dish, from among a teriyaki noodle bowl, pineapple fried rice bowl, and hacienda bowl. |

- Students taste-test future menu items and fill online surveys with feedback.
- A Dallas ISD FCNS representative will be on-site to provide samples and nutritional facts to students.

Each year, Food and Child Nutrition Services serves roughly 40 million students across the district. FCNS collaborates with a wider set of community partners to promote overall wellness in and out of school by procuring fresh produce and educating students on the nutritional value of fresh fruits and vegetables. |
