HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM BCDC!
2019 was an eventful year for BCDC and we are excited to see what 2020 has in store for us. Keep reading to see what we've been up to and what's to come!
Local Support for BCDC
All funds raised by local groups help us to provide mammograms for women who aren't able to pay for their exams. If you would like to host a fundraiser for BCDC (big or small!) please email mackenzie@bcdcofalaska.org or give our office a call at 907-479-3909
SAFEWAY
The Fairbanks and North Pole Safeway team members have outdone themselves once again! Tabatha, Carrie, Caitlin and team worked tremendously hard for months, hosting bake sales, rummage sales, and the auction/dinner fundraiser. We truly could not do what we do without support like this. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and participated in these incredible fundraising efforts!
Lava Washes for BCDC
During the month of October, Splash & Dash Express Car Wash donates a portion of their Lava Wash sales to BCDC. This year they raised $8,528.00 for BCDC, bringing their 5 year total to $68,589.00!
Department of Labor
Natalie Gaskins from DOL raised $1,550.00 for BCDC by hosting and organizing a food fundraiser at her office. Thank you to Natalie and her fellow co-workers for supporting the BCDC mission!
EAFB Firefighters
For the 3rd year in a row, the EAFB Firefighters raised money for BCDC by selling shirts they made. This year they raised $1000! Thank you for your service, and for supporting BCDC!
Cancer Care Bags
Girl Scout Troops 183 & 134 recently delivered 50 cancer care bags that they made to BCDC! These bags will help cancer patients be more comfortable while receiving treatments. If you or anyone you know has been recently diagnosed please stop by to pick up your cancer care pack made by these sweet girls.

Walk and Wine 2020 - Save the Date
The 2020 Walk and Wine will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 6pm...Registration will open in March, and as always the first 300 who register will receive a hand painted wine glass, see below for a sneak peak of the glasses!

Even a small donation can make a big difference! Donations we receive through Pick.Click.Give will help us provide more mammograms for women who are unable to pay. Together we are saving Alaskan lives!
OFFICE SPACE FOR RENT
BCDC is now accepting applications for a 1408 sq ft private office space located across the street from FMH and their new surgery center. Medical office businesses preferred, but we will entertain all business prospects as long as it’s a good fit for the space and does not conflict with the BCDC mission. For more information, please call our office at show contact info The 1408 sq ft of private space will be perfect for a small medical practice that needs to be in walking proximity to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. This office suite includes a private entrance and reception area, 2 exam rooms, 2 offices, 1 employee bathroom, 1 patient ADA bathroom, and plenty of parking. Very motivated to have a renter in this space ASAP, price is negotiable.
