BSBC Lenten Devotional Project April 12 (Easter) is a few months away, and now is the time to prepare this meaningful and inspirational project. A sign-up sheet with daily scriptures and instructions can be found outside of Pastor Keith’s office. Instructions may also be seen here. Please sign up, either in person, or by calling the church office ASAP. DEVOTIONS WILL NEED TO BE IN THE CHURCH OFFICE BY FRIDAY JANUARY 31. More information is on the front page of The Current.
 
Adult Luncheon Chili Cook-off Tuesday, January 28 at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall with fun and prizes! Everyone is encouraged to make his/her favorite chili. We will also need side items like crackers, cornbread, sour cream, cheese, chips, dip, etc. And dessert - don’t forget dessert! Please let Candy know what you plan to bring. Ken Mayfield, from Legacy Tours, will share opportunities for special trips and outings. Don't forget to bring paper products. RSVP no later than next Tuesday, January 21.
 
Women's Study The Frazzled Female by local author Cindi Wood beginning Wednesday, February 5, at 6:00 p.m. The author will lead the introductory session. Books will be available for purchase on February 5 for $12.00. Checks should be made payable to Cindi Wood Ministries or she can accept payment by card. She will also have other resources available for purchase and will sign books for participants.
 
All committees should meet to discuss plans for 2020 and choose a chairperson by mid-February. Forms will be given to deacons of committees – check your Sunday School folders. If you did not get a form, please check at the church office.
 
Meal Train for Lana Henkel Lana is suffering from stage four stomach cancer. If you would like to make a meal for the family as she recovers from surgery and chemo, please sign up here.
 
The Food Pantry always needs breakfast foods: Pop-Tarts, cereals, canned fruits, and canned meats. You are also encouraged to donate money to the Food Pantry ministry.
 
Remember to tithe! Please look for the Online Giving button on the church website to take you to a secure site where you may give to the general budget, Food Pantry, youth and children's programs, missions, and more. Text BSBC to 73256 for a link to the same site to donate by phone. You may also call the church office to give with a credit card.
