“So Many Stories to Tell” Art Challenge

In my last newsletter, I shared that I would be doing a series of drawings and posting them for auction on my website. I have started the series, and I am calling it my “So Many Stories to Tell” Art Challenge. Each drawing tells a story, or captures a moment that has been part of my story.

Each of the drawings will be posted for a limited time auction on my blog. You can follow each day’s drawing by subscribing to my my blog or by following on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Minimum bids will be low – you just might get a great artwork for a bargain!

The drawing above tells the story of Mia Meow and her koala bear friend. Following the news of devastating fires in Australia, Mia is offering support to her friend. She hopes for rain to douse the flames from the wildfires that ravage her friend’s home, but she also offers an umbrella for protection as he regains strength.

This drawing has already been sold in an auction, but there are many more to come. I hope you will follow along each day throughout the rest of January to see each day's drawing!

Paint Your Pet's Portrait Mini-Retreat

My Pet Portrait Painting Mini-Retreat this past weekend was a big success! We had all dogs and one pig portrait. It was so much fun, and everyone went home with a fabulous painting! (See photos here.)
