I appreciate the willingness to work collaboratively this week. We are challenged and limited, as more and more is expected. The professionalism to come together, think outside of the box and not bury our heads in the sand is the heartblood of what Westwood is. In speaking courageously and honestly, we can create the level of transparency needed to strengthen our cohesive team. Together we have achieved more, and together we will continue to achieve even more greatness.

Our discussion on the variety of schedules to best meet needs
During our “dot” activity we were able to incorporate music, interpersonal, communalism, dynamic attention span, interdependency and accountability; all elements of Validation (our success and what we are doing), Affirmation (what our goals are and feelings towards others’ ideas), Building (upon practices), and Bridging (new ideas into current practices).
First of Five
Quick check-in to see how much more time was needed
Validation (presenter’s schedule is not as important as colleagues’ needs to discuss), Affirmation (presenters noted the value in rich dialogue in collaboration), Building (adding to our toolboxes), and Bridging (thinking outside of the box to expand our current practices with previous successes).
If you would like the activity cards for reference to use in your room, please stop by.
