The Dan THOMPSONS in CHILE
January 2020
By Faith...
  • We are running 5 weeks of summer camp.  According to our sign-ups, we will host around 130 people each week.  Our camp team and speakers are prepared to minister to physical and spiritual needs. Please pray for God to do a work in hearts.  We expect much spiritual fruit this summer!
 
  • We cleared the land for the camp chapel at the end of December.  The architect is working on the plans to submit to the municipality and we have news that a work team from Idaho bought tickets to join us in the construction phase at the end of February.  Please pray that God would supply the rest of the needed funds to build.  The fellowship of churches in Chile donated to the project recently.  We praise the Lord for burdening hearts to give.
 
  • We continue to preach and teach at the Lican Ray Bible Church.  We have met many new people who are searching for good teaching.  Please pray that God would build his church in Lican Ray.  Pray for the believers as there are many demands on their time in the summer tourism months.  
 
  • Our family has served many years now in camp ministry.  Danny directs the camp and keeps everyone on the same page.  Micah is old enough to officially be on the camp team as service staff this year.  Matthias continues to work on maintenance projects over the summer weeks.  Morgan bakes all the bread in the camp kitchen where Liz is the supervisor.   Maddie finds many friends to play with and keeps herself busy going to all the kids' classes.  As a family, we want to please the Lord in our service to Him and others.  Please pray that God would use us for his glory!
