 Sikkerhetsinformasjon – DJI Matrice 200 fuktproblemer
Den britiske havarikommisjonen AAIB har nylig publisert en rapport om en hendelse med Matrice 210 og kommer i den forbindelse med anbefalinger i bruken av Matrice 200-serien. Selv om Matrice 200 er sertifisert til å tåle vann, har det begrensninger, og det er nå påvist at fukt kan trenge inn og skade ESC (Electronic Speed Controller). I de verste tilfellene har dette ført til motorstopp, tap av kontroll og tap av dronen.
Vær derfor ekstra oppmerksom hvis du opererer Matrice 200-serien i regn, og ta ekstra forhåndsregler dersom du flyr nært eller over folk.

Safety information – DJI Matrice 200
The UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch recently published the report on an incident with a Matrice 210. The report shows that, even though the Matrice 200-series is certified for rain conditions, moisture may enter the aircraft and damage the electronic speed controller (ESC). This has resulted in engine failure, loss of control and ultimately loss of aircraft.
Please be cautious when flying your Matrice 200 in rain, and take precautionary measures if flying close to or over people.

Status nytt regelverk
Luftfartstilsynet jobber med implementeringen av nytt felleseuropeisk regelverk for droner. Vi oppfordrer alle våre operatører til å starte prosessen med å sette seg inn i det nye regelverket. En god start kan være å ta en titt på reglene for åpen kategori. En kortfattet versjon finner du her.
Dersom du ikke kan operere innenfor noen av disse underkategoriene, vil du sannsynligvis havne i spesifikk kategori. Da vil vi anbefale at du allerede nå begynner å se på metodikken for risikoanalysen, SORA, slik at du er godt forberedt til den kommende regodkjenningsprosessen.
Luftfartstilsynet planlegger å gjennomføre et praktisk rettet kurs i bruk av SORA i forbindelse med SID – Sikker Integrering av Droner 2020. Mer informasjon kommer.

New European regulations for drones
The Civil Aviation Authority Norway is working towards the implementation of new common regulations for drones in Europe. We recommend that you begin the process of looking into the new regulation as soon as possible, beginning with checking the regulation for open category. You can find links to the regulations here.
If your operations can not be fitted within the rules of open category, your operations will most likely be classified within the specific category. For operators within the specific category, it will be useful to have insight into the risk analysis method, SORA. This will prepare you for the upcoming process of obtaining permits and approvals within the new regulation.
The Civil Aviation Authority Norway will be hosting a practical course in the use of SORA during SID – Safe Integration of Drones 2020. Information about this event will be posted in due time.

Det er mange kilder til informasjon på nett angående droneregler i forbindelse med endringer i mange land. Det er viktig å være kritisk til informasjonskilden, altså hvor informasjonen kommer fra og hvem som gir den ut. Tilsynelatende nyttig informasjon kan for eksempel ha sitt utspring fra FAA, luftfartsmyndigheten i USA, og vil således ikke være relevant for Norge eller Europa. Det kan også være forskjeller mellom land i implementeringsprosessen av det felleseuropeiske regelverket.

Please be aware that there are still different regulations across the world, including Europe, so make sure that the information is relevant for you and your area of operation. If the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is the source, the information should be relevant for the US, but might be entirely false for European conditions.
