Happy National Hat Day, dear 7SD fans! Thanks for opening up this electronic missive. Tonight, on a very special episode of Seven Second Delay, we're asking you to open up, for a change. We want to know which of your parents you love best, and why!

Now, we realize that this might be a question which "could potentially dismantle families," to quote a friend, so we have taken the precaution of installing the Satanic Vocal Disguiser (TM) on tall incoming calls tonight. No one will know its you, not even your own mother! Does she really listen to 7SD anyway? (And why not?!?)

So please call us and tell us which parent you love more, and why. Did your mom sit for hours in an awkward position while comforting you on a stormy night when you were three? Did your father look the other way when you fed your beets to Fluffy, or maybe saw you sneaking your girlfriend out the back door? Tell us! We'd be especially excited if siblings call to weigh in on this important topic, too!

We also have a prize, dear listeners, because as you know WE CARE. We'll pick a lucky parent at the end of the night and, if you wish, send them flowers for being such a nice person! (We absolutely promise not to tell them the real reason!) Not a big arrangement, mind you, but we found one for $22... random flowers are better than no flowers, right?

Tell the world about your favorite parent, sound like Mephistopheles, and maybe send mom some flowers. WHAT COULD BE BETTER??
