Short deadlines

Hospice Grants - Widening Access 

Grants of up to £35,000 (covering 18 months) are available for projects to address inequality in access to hospice care for people experiencing homelessness (or who are vulnerably housed) and people with learning disabilities.  The deadline for applications is Mon 27th January.  For more information please click the button below.   


Woodward Charitable Trust – Small Grants 

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to cover core costs for charities, CIOs (Charitable Incorporated Organisations), and CICs (Community Interest Companies) with an annual turnover of less than £300,000.  Organisations will work in at least one of the following: 

  • Arts outreach involving disadvantaged people 

  • Children and young people who are isolated, at risk of exclusions, or involved in anti-social behaviour 

  • Disability projects, including mental and / or rehabilitation and training for people who are either physically or learning disabled 

  • Disadvantaged women and their children 

  • Disadvantaged families 

  • Prisoners and ex-offenders 

  • Projects promoting integration and community cohesion

Comic Relief - Future Lookin’ Good Programme  

Grants of between £100,000 - £200,000 (for projects between 18 – 36 months) are available for projects helping young people to build positive futures, develop the skills necessary to live with dignity and be able to access basic housing to create happy homes in which they feel safe and secure.  The deadline for Expressions of Interest is midday on Fri 7th February.  For more information please click the button below.   
  

Art Fund Prize - Museum of the Year 2020  

Nominations are invited for museums or galleries to showcase their exceptional work.  A single winner will be awarded £100,000 and each finalist will be awarded £10,000.  The deadline for applications is Thurs 13th February.  For more information please click the button below.    


Local Community Projects Fund 

Grants of up to £2,000 are available to projects improving the resilience of people who are: 

  • Living with disabilities or chronic illness, or 

  • Experiencing poverty and / or homelessness, or 

  • Elderly and isolated, or 

  • Living with another demonstrable, significant need 

Priority will be given to organisations operating near a Greggs shop.  The deadline for applications is Sun 23rd February.  For more information please click the button below.   


Active and Assisted Living - Smart Ageing Prize 

Prizes are available for projects that support, empower and inspire older people to engage in entrepreneurship.  This could be through intergenerational teams and skills-sharing, or digital solutions.  The prize is in three awards: 

  • €35,000 – First place 

  • €10,000 – Second place 

  • €5,000 – Third place

Canoe Foundation Grants 

Grants of between £2,000 - £10,000 are available to clubs and community groups wishing to increase participation in canoeing.  Grants will improve accessibility to waterways and facilities, with the focus for this round of funding being: 

  • Increasing and protecting public access points, steps or platforms  

  • Improving the suitability of launching and landing sites, to and alongside water, for all sectors of the community

North Norfolk District Council Funding 

The following funds are available through North Norfolk District Council: 
Arts and Culture Fund 
Grants of up to £2,500 are available to projects improving the health and wellbeing of North Norfolk residents through participation and engagement in arts and culture.   
Community Transport Fund 
Funding is available for voluntary organisations who currently provide or wish to establish a community transport service in North Norfolk.

Ecosurety Exploration Fund 

Grants of up to £150,000 are available for projects that seek to reduce the impact of packaging, batteries or WEEE (Waste electrical and electronic equipment) on the environment.  Eligible projects will:  

  • Reduce the impact of packaging, batteries or WEEE through innovation or research.  Particular interest will be shown to ideas which could have an impact beyond the funded project 

  • Have a measurable impact 

  • Be completed within 12months of receiving funding  

  • Be unique

Funding to get Communities Moving (North Norwich) 

Individuals, clubs, and community groups in the Mile Cross and Catton Grove areas of Norwich can apply for up to £1000 to help people in the area be active.  Funding can be used for start-up costs for a new activity, or people already running physical activities in these areas can apply for funding for a coaching qualification to help them increase or improve their offer.  The deadline for applications is Tues 31st March.  For more information please click the button below.    


Erasmus+ Sport 2020  

Funding is available for sporting projects which help to develop the European dimension in sport through sharing experiences and knowledge at European level.  Projects will increase levels of participation in sports and voluntary activities.  Applications are invited under the following actions: 

  • Collaborative partnerships 

  • Small collaborative partnerships  

  • Not-for-profit European Sports Events

Henry Smith Charity Holiday Grants  

Grants of between £500 - £2,500 are available for recreational trips and holidays for groups of children aged 13 and under, who are disabled or disadvantaged.  Priority will be shown to groups who work in the 20% most deprived areas.  The deadline for this round of applications is Thurs 30th April.  For more information please click the button below.

Application for Adult Residential and Nursing Care Framework           

This is an application process for appointment to the Norfolk County Council Open Framework agreement for adult residential and nursing care homes. By signing up to the Framework, providers are confirming that they want to work with Norfolk County Council on the terms stated in the agreement.  The Framework Agreement will last for five years with an option to extend by a further five years.

          

Assessment, Therapy and Family Support Framework 

Norfolk County Council Children's Services wish to re-open the framework for the provision of assessment, therapy and family support services.  Key services/provision areas in scope are detailed in the service specification, but we would expect providers to be adaptable and flexible to develop services/provisions as required. This is the 5th round of applications and the framework will remain open for new applications.  

 

Framework Agreement for Tutors to Children and Young People       

Norfolk County Council wishes to procure an open framework with a range of providers delivering face to face and on-line tutorial services. The framework will be for 5 years, with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years, subject to agreement of Norfolk County Council with the service providers.     

   

LTR Framework Agreement for LAC/SEN           

Providers are invited to join an LTR (Light Touch Regime) framework agreement for the provision of residential care and / or education services, day school services for Looked After Children (LAC), children at risk of being looked after and / or children with special educational needs (SEN).  

        

Public Health Primary Care Contracts           

Applications are invited to deliver primary care services (formerly called local enhanced services), which have been divided into the following lots:            

  • Lot 1A – NHS Healthcheck Programme: the identification and invitation of the eligible population.           

  • Lot 1B – NHS Healthcheck Programme: delivery of the NHS Health Check (including Standard Operating Procedures).       

  • Lot 1C – NHS Healthcheck Programme: Community Records Update.           

  • Lot 2A – National Chlamydia Screening Programme, Emergency Hormone Contraception (EHC) and Pregnancy Testing.           

  • Lot 2B – Fitting and management of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUD) / Intrauterine Systems (IUS).           

  • Lot 3A – Stop Smoking service provision.           

  • Lot 3B – Supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).           

  • Lot 4 – Substance misuse shared support.          

  • Lot 5 - Healthy Start Vitamins.       

Providers can apply for one or any combination of Lots. 

No Deadlines

Tesco Bags of Help Grants 

Grants of up to £2,000 are available for projects which bring benefit to the community.  Three successful projects will then be voted for by Tesco customers, winning the following grants: 

  • £2,000 

  • £1,000 

  • £500 

Projects must be completed within 12 months of receiving the grant but can be stand-alone projects or a self-contained part of a larger project / scheme. For more information please click the button below.    

 

Heart of the Community Fund (Norwich) 

Applications are invited from Norwich projects to win one of three awards - £2,000, £1,000 or £500 to make a big difference locally.  Eligible projects will be: 

  • Run by local registered charities with annual running costs of less than £500,000 

  • Working in the parts of the City that need money the most 

  • Have strong local roots 

  • Benefit the wider community 

The prizes can be used to buy materials and equipment, make improvements to a community building, clean up an area of wasteland or support an event. The money could also pay for staff to run an activity.  For more information please click the button below.     


Lloyds Bank Foundation  

Grants of between £45,000 - £100,000 (over three years) are available to cover core funding for projects addressing complex social issues such as: 

  • Addiction and dependency 

  • Asylum seekers and refugees 

  • Domestic abuse 

  • Care leavers 

  • Homelessness and the vulnerably housed 

  • Learning disabilities 

  • Sexual abuse and exploitation 

  • Offending, prison and community service 

  • Mental Health 

  • Trafficking and modern slavery 

  • Young parents
