Please join us THIS Saturday, January 18th, at 9:30 am at Southminster Presbyterian Church for the Quarterly Meeting

Please bring something to share for breakfast at 9:30 or just come and enjoy the company of your neighbors. Our meeting will start at 10 am.

Southminster Presbyterian Church is at the corner of Danby and Harding. Parking is in the back and enter through the back door.

We will be hearing from two of our local elected representatives, Metro Council Member Courtney Johnston and State Representative Jason Powell

And we will have two other guests talking about how we can save energy and conserve our natural resources. They are:
  • Patrick King from Urban Green Lab: Patrick King II manages Urban Green Lab’s Households Division, a program dedicated to empowering individuals to make more sustainable choices by training the community institutions they engage with every day to teach about sustainable living.
  • Ryan Egly from the Nashville Chapter of the Citizens Climate Lobby: Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-partisan grassroots organization that empowers everyday people to work together on climate change solutions. Our supporters are organized in more than 400 local chapters across the United States. Together we’re building support in Congress for a national bipartisan solution to climate change. Ryan is the volunteer co-leader of Citizens Climate Lobby Nashville. After taking part in a few different groups with an environmental focus, he was impressed with CCL's pragmatic, non-partisan, and solutions-based approach. In his day job, Ryan works as a Solutions Architect for Schneider Electric, designing solar and energy storage systems.
Caldwell-Abbay Hall Neighborhood Association (CAHNA) has partnered with our friends at Black Abbey Brewing Company to bring to you "Office Hours!" Every 3rd Wednesday of the month (except January, we will resume on February 19th), Black Abbey and CAHNA will host a neighbor's event that will feature leaders in our community who will be available for questions regarding future plans, safety, crime, traffic, transit, etc within our neighborhood. Don't have any questions or just looking to meet more friendly faces in the community? This is for you too! And the best part?? Black Abbey is offering $1 off beer for any Caldwell Abbay Hall residents! (21 and over)
