I Hear His Whisper . . .
Let me be your loving Father.

I long to teach you what it means to be a son or a daughter of the living God. Do not let your experience with an earthly father blind your eyes to who I am. You have a Father in heaven, who has a burning love for you. I cherish you and will give you the fruits of sonship. Let me teach you the secrets of what it means to be my child. Turn your eyes to me and know that you have my full attention.

If memories of childhood bring pain and prevent you from knowing me fully, I will heal that pain and give you a new history in me. Together, we will write a new story of love, patience, encouragement, and safety. If in retrospect you were able to find my love through your earthly father, allow me to build upon that and unveil an even more glorious way. Regardless of your past, I will give you a new frame of reference, so you will always be able to expect goodness, kindness, and faithfulness from me. To anticipate joy. To never wonder if I’ll come through—because you will never again have reason to doubt my love.
