YG Launches our 2020 Shoe Box Ministry
Please support the youth as we collect and build care packages for our homeless population in Denver. We will collect items through Feb. 2 then take them downtown to share on Feb. 9. Please leave donations in the tub in the narthex. 

Items needed are:

Water bottles, socks, travel size toiletries(lotions are of particular need), toothbrushes/toothpaste, dental floss, gloves, hats, chapstick, non perishable food items(granola bars, canned meats, snack packs of any kind, single serving fruits/applesauce, single serving cereal packs) hand wipes, Kleenex packs, lots of socks, small candies/mints/gum.

 

Special Event: Game of Life

The St. Francis Center will be leading our YG meeting on Jan. 19, 4-6 pm, in the parish hall. They will be hosting the Game of Life which is an educational activity to learn more and understand severe poverty and homelessness. Youth, parents and parish members are welcome to join. There are limited spots. Please RSVP to youthgroup@smecp.org if you would like to join us.
