Greetings,
I am reaching out once again to request your assistance. On December 11th, we conducted a Bidder’s Conference for the Tribal Youth Diversion Grant and only had one attendee. Although the event was livestreamed, there were no identified participants online. Similarly, the letters of intent to apply were due on December 20th and we only received letters from three eligible applicants (we had one CBO apply).
As you know, we have $9.7 million available to fund tribes through this grant. I am concerned that we will not have enough applicants to fully expend the available funds. I’m guessing that, like me, you would like to see these funds awarded to tribes rather than reverted to the General Fund. Toward that end, I am requesting your assistance in getting word out about the RFP and generating interest among eligible applicants (federally recognized tribes). I have included my original email below which has sample language and other information that I hope you find helpful in spreading the word. If you have any other ideas for how I might distribute this information, please let me know.
I have attached the
RFP as well as the
Notice of Funding Availability. Additional information can be accessed under the first accordion at

Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thank you,
