Alexis has completed all her chemo and

1:00 - 4:00 - 3D Works

This will be our last Change Out for our fiscal year.

FINANCIALS:
The Budget Report shows the gallery is on track with the budget and as sales are at this point, the gallery stands to realize over $40,000 in sales this year.  The sales have increased every year for the past four years.  The increase this year may be due to keeping the gallery open seven days a week.

The Sales for December were $6,366.40 which is a very good month for sales.  However, the gallery did not realize the amount of sales experienced last December.  We did not have as good participation in our Holiday Sales as we did last year so perhaps it is time to explore another income enhancement idea.  We are always open to new ideas to increase our sales.
Reminder:  
The General Membership meeting date will be announced in the next newsletter and Jeanne will send out an individual reminder relative to day and time. In the past it has been held on the opening day of Farmers Market in MAY.
"ARTISTS IN THE WINDOW" UPDATE
The Holiday window for December is still installed by Kate featuring Irene, Pat and Chris. The window STILL looks lovely (most especially at night!) 
Alexis and Renetta are will be in the window for February and Linda Webb will be in the window for March and April.  
FYI: GALLERY DETAILS
 
  • It has been reported that there has been a problem with the terminal reading the chip and/or the stripe.  
    1. Try the chip, if that does not work...
    2. Try the stripe.  
    3. As a last resort...If you still cannot get the sales to go through then you can manually key enter the credit card number.  
If the credit card number is required to be key entered, call the Customer Service  number on the side of the terminal and report that you had to key enter the number after the customer has left. We will be getting a new terminal shipped to us or we may be required to do a download.  If either of these things happen, call Renetta (209-968-7334) and advise her. Thanks.
 
  • Your Holiday items have been removed from the front of the gallery to the back room and should be picked up as soon as possible.  
 
  • Jeanne announced that almost everyone is on target for fulfilling their sitting time. It is sometimes a challenge to get all of the required days but every effort should be made to complete your gallery requirement. With everyone’s help, we will continue to stay open 7 days a week as it is believed the extra days have increased our sales.  
     
 
NEW ARTIST APPLICATIONS
Our Artist Application has been added to the web site. Artists who inquire can be directed to the web site for online entry or  to print out an application and bring it into the gallery.  Applications are also still in the orange binder in the file cabinet.
