The Whitewater Grocery Co. is owned by 625 people! That means that 625 of us have committed to building a grocery store that meets the needs of our community, is a place for friends and neighbors to gather and learn, fosters sustainable practices for our planet and profit, and is welcoming to all.

We've gained 10 new Owners in the last month! We're up to 625 and looking for #626. While this is a new year, we still have the same big goal of opening a cooperative grocery store that serves the needs of our community, we're just approaching it with new strategies this year. We'd like to reach 850 Owners and growing by the end of the year to start our GM search, so continue helping in ways you're able--
- TALK to friends and family about the co-op
- REFER new Owners
- VOLUNTEER for the small and big tasks
- SHARE this newsletter or social media posts often
- INVITE US to your organization's/group's meeting or event so we can share all about the GroCo, what co-ops are, and what it means to be an Owner

BOARD OF DIRECTORS RETREAT! The GroCo Board will be meeting for their annual retreat on February 2nd where they will undergo some strategic planning with volunteer Beth Ruderman. Can't wait to share what we plan up!

Your Board meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. (for 30 minutes of socializing with Owners) with a Call to Order at 6:30 p.m. at the Whitewater Innovation Center, 1221 Innovation Drive. Board meetings are always open to Owners, and we welcome Owners to stay and get the inside scoop!

We are seeking volunteers for a variety of small positions/tasks. If volunteering for this endeavor interests you, contact Katy (the one holding the lemon above!), and she will work with you to pinpoint your skillset so you're working on things you love to do!
