2019 Rewind: Doctors Who Create Spotlights NYU School of Medicine & the Intersection of Art and Medicine

Narrative Medicine International Network

Columbia Narrative Medicine recently announced the launch of Narrative Medicine International, a network that will encourage and foster collaborative work and learning worldwide. They invite feedback "as a first step towards joining and utilizing this network in order to ensure that it serves the global narrative medicine community in the best and most effective way possible, now and in the years to come."

Edvard Munch and The Scream: A Cry for Help

Authors Gary and Linda Friedlaender explore the different ways in which artists—and patients—express themselves. They look at the work of painter Edvard Munch and the deep emotion that comes through in his work.
