Happy New Year! As it happens every year, we are already rushing through January and the holidays seem like a long time ago. As usual, we have a lot going on at ICOLPH—MAP testing, the Annual Gift Campaign, prepping for Catholic Schools’ Week, Auction procurement…the list goes on. But you’ll find lots of helpful information in this newsletter, so please read it carefully and don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

Annual Gift Campaign 2020- It’s Annual Gift Campaign time! The Annual Gift Campaign is one of ICOLPH’s three major fundraisers that help support the school’s mission. A letter from the Annual Gift Campaign chair, Zoran Rajcic, was mailed to parishioners of IC/OLPH Parishes in November and we have had a good response from our communities—thank you to those school parents who have already donated! The staff has pledged 100% support of this campaign already, and I am asking that the school families also participate at 100%. Any amount, big or small, makes a difference and counts toward your family’s fundraising obligation. Please consider making a donation as soon as you are able. A donation envelope is included in your family envelope this week. Thank you for your support!!

MAP Testing grades K-8
Our winter testing window for the MAP assessment runs January 14^th through February 7th. Your student’s teacher will communicate which days their class is scheduled to test, so if you know ahead of time that your student will be absent during this time, please let the teacher know so that we can try to have your student test on another day. Remember, the MAP assessment looks at the growth of each individual student, so this assessment will give us the next set of data for your student. As always, please make sure that your child is well rested and has breakfast so that they can put their best effort forward.

Intent to Return Forms
Intent to Return Forms are coming home in today’s family envelope. Please complete this form with your honest intention about your plans for next school year. While this form is not a contract, we do use it to begin our budget and staffing discussions, so accurate information is vitally important. Thank you for completing and turning in this form as soon as possible!
