PHNRC First Work Day of the Decade!

1/12/2020

When:     Sunday, January 12th, 2020.  9:00 am -12:00 pm
Where:    9 East Marion. PHNRC Headquarters (See Map)
What:      All kinds of things!

Hang on to your hats, this could be a wild one! Depending on which weather model you look at we could be in for a really rough ride or we could be just fine. Either way, we have a plan and Happy New Year to all!

Since we are supposed to have 2-4" of rain from Friday to Saturday then slushy ice turning to snow with numerous inches, we have crafted a 2 stage plan to make sure we can get things done. This is the time of year when we focus on tool maintenance and inventory anyway so why not have that be the work day? There is also much restoration  work to do in the immediate vicinity of HQ so here is the plan. We will all meet at the garage at 9 East Marion at 9:00. If conditions are permitting, (safety first) we will have the option of going outside with Agnes to work on the snags and invasives. If not, We can stay in the garage and do seed mixes, inventory, tool maintenance and organizing. You will have the option of going to either place for as long as you like.

If the weather  permits, we will have a bonfire to burn up invasive brush and downed snags. If the fire doesn't go, Kielbasa will be roasted on the grill  instead and coffee will be available in the garage.

Please park on the south side of Marion facing north.
