Volunteers Needed!
2020 Point-In-Time (PIT) Count

Thank you to everyone who has signed up for the PIT Count on Thursday, January 23, 2020! Please check your e-mail for further information on volunteer training sessions.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the volunteer sign-up form! Please share this information with friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else who may be interested in volunteering! All volunteers must be 18 years or older to participate. All volunteers will receive training on how to complete the surveys, so no experience is required.

For any questions about the 2020 Winter PIT Count, please contact Kate Gibson at gibson@gwregion.org or (540) 642-1579.

Each year the Fredericksburg Regional CoC conducts a Point-in-Time (PIT) count of all persons experiencing homelessness in our region on a given night in January. This data is used to understand our progress toward ending homelessness in our region as well as to inform decision making throughout the year.

2020 Consolidated Plan

The City of Fredericksburg is developing a long range plan for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs known as the 2020 Consolidated Plan.  During this process staff are meeting with interested parties, including neighborhood, civic, and non-profit organizations, to gather public input on the development of future programs.  Planning and Community Development Department staff would be happy to meet with any organization to provide an overview of our planning process, review local demographics, and outline what programs we think will meet the area’s identified needs and to ask for ideas from your group.

Public Hearing Tuesday January 28, 2020 at 7:30pm
