WORKSHOPS
Here's a glimpse of what's coming up:
TORONTO
Eve's Ukulele Orchestra (Tuesdays) starts Feb 4. She's got a Wed night intermediate uke class, and a Monday night "beyond beginner" class. Email eve@evegoldberg.com for more info. Jane leads a monthly women's singing group in TO's west end. Email jane@janelewis.ca for details.
GUELPH
Jane leads a weekly drop-in Vocal Meditation session every Monday at noon. Along with Katherine Wheatley, she's also got 7-week women's and co-ed "choir" workshops—they start next week and there are one or two spots open! (Mon & Tues evenings, and Tues afternoons). A Women's Music Weekend retreat is happening May 1-3.
HALIBURTON
On March 28 (afternoon), you can take a free ukulele workshop with Eve and/or a vocal workshop with Jane! For more info, email singingdog1@gmail.com. (Gathering Sparks will be performing that evening.)
Mark your calendars for June 29-July 3 at the Haliburton School of the Arts. Eve is offering Intermediate Uke and Jane is offering a singing/improvisation course. July 4 you can take Singing Harmony By Ear with Jane, and July 6-10 you can join the Ukulele Orchestra with Eve & Brenna McCrimmon. Info will be available at www.hsad.ca.
