About the Class

Learn the fundamentals of improvisation. The class’s interactive exercises build listening and communication skills, heighten awareness and teach you how to be more playful, spontaneous and flexible. Play short form improv games in a fun and safe environment.

For You To Do

1. Fill out our intake survey before you arrive.
2. The class will meet at Creative Action, 1023 Springdale Rd, Bldg 3, Austin, TX 78721. Plan to get there at least 5 minutes early. Wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and bring a water bottle if you like.
3. Parking is plentiful and free at the location. :-)
4. If you get lost, are running late, or facing any other catastrophes, text or call Kevin Miller at 512-560-5208‬‬.
5. Your 101 Course Packet contains everything you need to begin class with us. You can print it out if you like. Please note that when you click on the link, you will be required to request access by the admin in order to access this document. Just a slight security measure. :-)
6. Join the Merlin Works Students and Alumni Facebook group. This is a place for you to connect and communicate with others about Merlin Works activities as well as other improv and community happenings.
