Parking News
Reminder to all students and parents:
Parking in the stadium lot (the gravel area under the bid scoreboard) is OFF LIMITS. That area belongs to the APS Athletic Department
Also, the 8th street parking lot CANNOT be used as a student drop-off and pick-up location . This is where teachers and staff park. In the afternoon, parents have started parking and blocking other cars beginning at 3:00. It is too dangerous and disruptive to use that very busy area for drop-off and pick-up.
The 10th street lot is the ONLY drop off and pick up area.

Vaping Town Hall Meeting
Friday, February 7 at 7pm, at North Atlanta High School
My name is Vernetta Head and I’m the PTSA Drug Awareness Chair at North Atlanta High School. On Feb 7th we will be hosting a town hall covering a topic that is impacting our youth and families.
Being a Red Ribbon Certified school has its privileges! The North Atlanta High School PTSA Drug Awareness Committee is proud to host the Medical Association of Atlanta Town Hall on The Vaping Phenomenon: What it is? Why did it happen? What can we do about it?
Plan to join us as we hear important information from nationally-known keynote speaker Dr. Bonnie Halpern-Felsher, a developmental psychologist with additional training in adolescent and young adult health. Her presentation will provide detailed information on e-cigarettes, nicotine levels in these products, addiction, and other health effects. The program will conclude with an open Q&A session so bring your questions and concerns. For more information visit www.maa-assn.org/events.
