Hi <<First Name>>,

Welcome to the Exponential Medicine (xMed) newsletter. Catch recent top news (linked below) impacting the future of health and biomedicine and xMed sessions exploring the future of Artificial Intelligence and its rapidly developing impact and potential in health and biomedicine.

Medicine & The Machine:  Eric Topol & Abraham Verghese on AI in Healthcare.
Medscape editor-in-chief Eric Topol, MD, and master storyteller and clinician Abraham Verghese, MD have partnered  on a terrific new podcast: Medicine and the Machine, where they discuss the power and pitfalls of artificial intelligence, and how it will change modern medicine.

We were fortunate to have Drs. Topol and Verghese join us at Exponential Medicine 2019 where they recorded their first live podcast, and also took questions from the xMed participants.  They discuss the loss of humanity in medicine, and how AI offers an exciting opportunity to bring time and presence back to patient care.  You can listen to the edited Medicine & the Machine podcast episode here, and watch their entire xMed session here
