Happy February Dixon Dance Family! We hope you are all having a great 2020 dance season, because we sure are!
Registration for our 2020 June Recital is now open. The next deadline is Thursday, February 20th. Prices will go up on Friday, February 21st, so make sure to register as soon as possible. Summer recital is our favorite part of the year and we hope to have as many of our dancers up on that stage as we can.
Our very own Ms. Kiana is now teaching Funk on Tuesdays! There are four different levels, so make sure to give one a try, because her classes are always a blast.

Don't miss your chance to support the team Valentine's Day Weekend at the Spotlight Dance Competition. The team will be competing right here in Sacramento at the McClellan Conference Center. For full details and performance times, make sure to scroll down.
As a reminder, the studio will be closed Friday, February 14th - Monday, February 17th for President's Day Weekend.

ONLINE ACCOUNT - Did you know that you can log on to your own DDS Account and make payments, view classes, and much more? Just click on the online portal link and click forgot password. Your email is on file with us and the system will generate a password for you.

 February Spotlight Dancer
Scarlett Fry!
This month, we are shining the spotlight on 7-year old Scarlett Fry! Scarlett goes to Gretchen Higgins Elementary and her favorite parts of school are math and art.
Scarlett first started dancing at Dixon Dance Studio three and a half years ago. She started dancing because her sisters Aris and Mallory were also dancing at the studio. Her favorite dance memory is when she got to dance to “Chin Up” from Charlotte’s Web.
Scarlett said her best dance friend is, “Meggie because she’s nice and kind.”
Ms. Amy says, “Scarlet is a sweet and bubbly young lady who is a pleasure to have in class! She has been dancing with us since she was about three years old. Both Scarlett and her family have been a fixture at Dixon Dance Studio for many years. We love them so much!”
Scarlett’s goal is to be a veterinarian. Her advice to her fellow dancers is, “to follow your dreams.” That is such great advice Scarlett! Congratulations on being this month’s Spotlight Dancer!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Tuition
Automatic tuition is ran on the 3rd of each month. Tuition is late after the 7th and will be assessed a $10 late fee. Students with delinquent accounts will be dropped after the 15th and will have to pay an enrollment fee to register.
Observation Windows
Observation windows will only be open the first full week of the month. All other weeks of the month the windows will be closed. This is for the benefit of the dancers. When the windows are closed dancers are able to focus without distraction and learn faster. It also gives them something to look forward to, so they can show their parents what they have learned that month.

ONLINE DROP FORM - If you plan on dropping a class, please fill out a drop form 30 days prior to dropping, so your account will no longer be charged. You can use our online drop form or pick one up at the front desk.
