Eagle Scout Projects
Congratulations to Ryder Zipf and Maverick Zipf who have each completed two separate Eagle Scout projects for Trinity.
Ryder built two new base kneelers for our altar railing, painted them and touched up the sanctuary area. He refurbished the two altar benches bringing them back to the original teak. Finally, he painted parking curbs red where needed.
Maverick removed, sanded, painted and replaced the white metal cross from the pavilion. He painted the pavilion inside and out, cleaned all the prayer books and hymnals, and installed a whiteboard in the pavilion for messages. He painted the two smaller storage units, the welcome tables, and the concrete blocks around the dumpster. Finally, he installed the newly refaced Trinity By-the-Sea signs on the pavilion and at the street corner.
Many thanks to these young men and all who helped with these useful projects to help beautify our church.

Web Resources
- You have all heard, time and again, that news and pictures of Trinity by the Sea can be accessed on our website as well as on FaceBook. Whether you are a local full-timer, one of our snow angels here for a few weeks or months, or a first-time visitor, we are delighted when you "check us out"!
- A new website has also recently been created - mauiepiscopal.church - that has information about all four of Maui's Episcopal Churches. The next time you are on your computer you might like to" take a peek"!
- And finally, there have been questions about the availability of past Newsletters - from folks who want to the "Know Thy Neighbors" who have been featured in previous columns. Yes, they're still there!
- Feedback Invited and Welcomed! Whether you live on Maui or on the mainland (or even in another country!), if you are receiving this Newsletter, we would love to hear from you: opinions, suggestions, constructive criticism, brand new ideas. You have worshiped with us in our unique historical Sanctuary and we consider you ohana! Our challenges of being a small outdoor church are many and sometimes a newcomer sees things that the regulars may miss or has ideas that we have not thought of. Let us know! Just reply to this email with your input. Mahalo!
