I read a short article recently about Lidewij Edelkoovt, a lifestyle trend forecaster and was taken with one of her predictions for 2020. She said that "success will not be expressed in dollars but in degrees of happiness.” At Semple we work hard to make our clients happy and trust that you will help us when we don’t! During 2020 we will continue to be innovative in response to your comments by extending our design ideas and fabrics, hosting events on topical issues and publishing our online magazine.
Our visit to Budapest
Talking of fabrics, some of you will have seen our tweets and instagram posts about our trip to Budapest a couple of weeks ago. Dulcie and I met Agnes when we visited her traditional fabric shop and collected our Chanel style fabric for clients. Interestingly this fabric is difficult to find in the UK. We will reveal our jackets next month.
New colours
While in the Budapest shop we found some new colours of Italian crepe. As you know, despite me saying 5 years ago that I only wanted to make dresses, we now make all types of garments for a range of occasions. We’d love to see you to discuss your sartorial needs for 2020.
Some of you responded to my invitation in our last newsletter to meet up for a catch up coffee.
