It's tax season and the Library is a great resource. In our lobby next to the elevator, we have Wisconsin and Federal tax information, forms, and instructions. Our first floor business center, located next to the public copier, has a binder of common forms that can be photocopied for your use at $0.15 per page. For more options, tax filing help and forms are available at these websites:

Binga, Circulation Assistant: I really enjoyed watching the BBC series Mrs. Wilson. It's a quick three episodes, but the experience of reliving the unbelievable reality through the acting of Mrs. Wilson's biological granddaughter is lasting. I think everyone would enjoy this series, but especially those who have a taste for the unexpected and its life-altering consequences.

Cheryl, Business Manager recommends This is Us which she is watching with her family. The library has Season One, Season Two, and Season Three on DVD.

Nancy, Adult Services Specialist: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Anna Waterhouse have a series based on the classic fiction characters Mycroft Holmes and his brother Sherlock. First is Mycroft Holmes, with further books Mycroft and Sherlock and Mycroft and Sherlock: The Empty Birdcage. This series shows a pair of brothers and their family background as they develop their paths toward detection and aiding the British government in espionage matters. Entertaining fiction with a fresh look at the Sherlock Holmes genre.

Ryan, Youth Services Specialist: I recently discovered a wonderful non-fiction book titled The Brilliant Deep by Kate Messner. It tells the tale of a young boy (Ken Nedimyer) who falls in love with the ocean and grows up to be a pioneer of conservation efforts. Along with the moving message, the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous.
